Life isn’t easy, but it is rewarding. The same holds true for music. Each day is both a challenge as well as an opportunity-and the journey, I must say, is as important as the destination. Immerse yourself fully into your work; do your best and never be afraid to make mistakes. Learn, absorb, embrace, grow-and enjoy every bit of it.
Whatever you do, take people along, for at the end of the day, all art-be it literature, art or song-is inspired and enriched by people. I take this opportunity to express my love and gratitude towards my loved ones, friends as well as family, the gurus who mentored me and the seniors who directed me: thank you for being with me, through highs as well as lows.
As for me, I believe the future belongs to those with strength and flexibility: the strength to hold on to their roots as well as the flexibility to adapt to newer horizons.
Times change, but the quest for memorable music is timeless. As is love.
